Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kompetensi interpersonal dengan kesepian pada remaja di Jakarta selama pandemik Covid-19. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah The 6-items De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale (The 6-items DJGLS) untuk mengukur variabel kesepian dan Adolescent Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire (AICQ) untuk mengukur kompetensi interpersonal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode accidental sampling. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 231 orang remaja di Jakarta berusia 12-21 tahun. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan untuk mengolah data penelitian yaitu uji korelasi. Hasilnya, terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara kompetensi interpersonal dengan kesepian pada remaja di Jakarta selama pandemik Covid-19. This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal competence and loneliness of adolescents in Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research instrument were used The 6-items De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale (The 6-items DJGLS) to measure the loneliness variable and the Adolescent Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire (AICQ) to measure interpersonal competence variable. This study uses a quantitative approach. Sampling using accidental sampling method. The sample of this research is 231 adolescents in Jakarta aged 12-21 years old. The hypothesis test used to process research data is the correlation test. As a result, there is a significant negative relationship between interpersonal competence and loneliness in adolescents in Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic.
