Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dengan kinerja mengajar guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Pulo Gadung. Variabel yang diteliti adalah kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai variabel bebas (variabel X) dan kinerja mengajar guru sebagai variabel terikat (variabel Y). Metode penelitian adalah ex-post facto dengan uji korelasional. Instrument pengumpulan data adalah angket dalam bentuk skala, dengan Analisis korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson yang didahului dengan uji prasayarat melalui uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Hasil uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai korelasi (rxy) kedua variabel sebesar 0,668. Dari koefesien determinasi, kepemimpinan transformasional memberikan kontribusi sebesar 44,6% terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dengan kinerja mengajar guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Pulo Gadung. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi kepemimpinan transformasional, maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja mengajar guru. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and the teaching performance of State Junior High School teachers in Pulo Gadung District. The variables studied were transformational leadership as the independent variable (variable X) and teacher teaching performance as the dependent variable (variable Y). The research method is ex-post facto with correlational test. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire in the form of a scale, with Product Moment Correlation Analysis from Pearson which is preceded by a prerequisite test through a normality test and a linearity test. The results of hypothesis testing, the correlation value (rxy) of the two variables is 0.668. From the coefficient of determination, transformational leadership contributes 44.6% to the teaching performance of teachers. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and the teaching performance of State Junior High School teachers in Pulo Gadung District. Based on these conclusions, it can be said that the higher the transformational leadership, the higher the teacher's teaching performance.
