Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mempelajari pengaruh job involvement, efikasi diri, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi penyuluh keluarga berencana Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia tahun 2020. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei, pengaruh antar variabel diuji dengan menggunakan teknis analisis jalur (path analysis) dan model hipotetik dikembangan melalui research and development. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sejumlah 1.214 orang penyuluh KB, dengan sampel yang diambil ditetapkan 301 sebagai responden penelitian. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa (1) variabel komitmen organisasi dengan indikator ketaatan pada regulasi masih rendah, indikator job nvolvement yang harus ditingkatkan adalah dedikasi, efikasi diri dengan indikator keyakinan diri menghadapi tekanan masih relatif rendah dan kepuasaan kerja terkait indikator terbatasnya peluang promosi, (2) job involvement berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, (3) efikasi diri berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, (4) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen organisasi (5) job involvement berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kepuasan kerja (6) efikasi diri berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kepuasan kerja (7) job involvement berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap komitmen organisasi melalui kepuasan kerja (8) efikasi diri berpengaruh tidak langsung positif terhadap komitmen organisasi melalui kepuasan kerja (9) model hipotetik yang dibangun yakni variabel job involvement, efikasi diri dan kepuasaan kerja secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi. Dengan indikator yang paling tinggi keterlibatan kerja pada job involvement, keyakinan terhadap kemampuan diri menghadapi tekanan pada efikasi diri yang tinggi serta kepuasan kerja dengan indikator pekerjaan yang menyenangkan. Dengan demikian job involvement, efikasi diri dan kepuasan kerja memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan komitmen organisasi. Kata kunci: job involvement, efikasi diri, kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi ******** ABSTRACT This research was conducted to study the effect of job involvement, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction on organizational commitment of family planning field workers at The National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) of West Java Province, Indonesia in 2020. This research applied a quantitative approach by conducting a survey. The influence between variables was examined using path analysis techniques. A hypothetical model was developed through research and development. The population was all family planning field workers in West Java Province - in total 1,214 field workers. As samples, 301 (three hundred and one) workers representing all districts and cities within the province were selected to be respondents. The results of the research data analysis show that (1) The variable of organizational commitment level indicated by compliance with the regulations is still low while the job involvement that must be improved is dedication. Furthermore, self-efficacy indicated by self-confidence in dealing with pressure must also be built because it is still relatively low whereas job satisfaction is related to limited promotion opportunities, (2) Job involvement has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment for family planning field workers (3) (3) Self-efficacy has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment, (4) Job satisfaction has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment, (5) Job involvement has a direct positive effect on job satisfaction, (6) Self-efficacy has a direct positive effect on job satisfaction, (7) Job involvement has an indirect effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction, (8) Self-efficacy has a positive indirect effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction, (9) The hypothetical model built is that job involvement, self-efficacy and job satisfaction variables simultaneously affect organizational commitment. The highest indicators include involvement in work (job involvement), level of one's belief in one's ability to stay calm and confident under pressure (self-efficacy), and job satisfaction with pleasant work indicators. In conclusion, job involvement, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction have pivotal roles in increasing organizational commitment.
