Abstract

Pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang konservasi tumbuhan merupakan suatu interaksi seseorang dengan berbagai indra dalam upaya menjaga dan melestarikan tumbuhan, serta ekologinya untuk jangka panjang. Pentingnya pengetahuan tersebut juga berkaitan dengan pentingnya sikap mahasiswa tentang konservasi tumbuhan. Sikap mahasiswa tentang konservasi tumbuhan adalah kecenderungan respon positif atau negatif terhadap lingkungan dan keanekaragaman makhluk hidup terutama tumbuhan agar tidak mengalami kepunahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Pengetahuan dengan Sikap Mahasiswa tentang Konservasi Tumbuhan di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada bulan Desember 2021. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 165 mahasiswa Program Studi Biologi dan Pendidikan Biologi dengan menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan bahwa data bersifat normal dan homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pengetahuan dengan sikap mahasiswa tentang konservasi tumbuhan di Indonesia. Undergraduate student knowledge of plant conservation is an interaction of a person with various senses in an effort to maintain and preserve plants and their ecology for the long term. The importance of this knowledge is also related to the importance of undergraduate student attitudes towards plant conservation. The attitude of undergraduate students to plant conservation is the tendency of positive or negative responses to the environment and the diversity of living things, especially plants so that they do not experience extinction. This research aims to know the relationship between undergraduate student knowledge and attitudes on plant conservation in Indonesia. The research was conducted at the State University of Jakarta in December 2021. The number of research samples was 165 undergraduate students of biology using the Taro Yamane formula which was selected by simple random sampling. The method used was descriptive with a correlational study. The results of the prerequisite test show that the data were normal and homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis are a positive relationship between undergraduate student knowledge and attitudes on plant conservation in Indonesia.
