Abstract

This study aims to develop a Knowledge Sharing Model at the PT Pusri Palembang Factory which is integrated into the 70:20:10 learning and development model currently applied by PT Pusri Palembang. Research conducted by Mgs. Prima Darma Putra (a postgraduate student in a doctoral program at the State University of Jakarta) is qualitative research. Data was collected through participant observation using in-depth interviews, direct field observations, document studies, recording, and distributing questionnaires to factory employees (respondents) as survey data to support the research. The focus of this research is to observe the implementation (practice) of knowledge sharing at the PT Pusri Palembang factory and how the strategies and systems are carried out by its leaders. For this reason, the study begins by describing the components of knowledge sharing with the components of the 70:20:10 learning and development model. The slices of the informal learning components obtained were then analyzed and further developed to build the right knowledge sharing model to be applied at the PT Pusri Palembang factory. This research is very useful for improving knowledge sharing practices and efforts to disseminate knowledge stored in individual employees to be shared and accumulated evenly among all employees in various work units so as to improve corporate memory and corporate intelligence. This research uses several models of knowledge sharing as a research novelty, including; Peer to Peer Sharing Model Between Seniors and Juniors, Peer to Peer Sharing Model in One Generation Model, Strategic Initiative Framework Model, and Knowledge-Based Career Development System Model, as well as employee capability assessment tools to implement (practice) knowledge sharing namely “Framework The 15 Competencies to Build Knowledge Sharing Capability “. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Model Knowledge Sharing di Pabrik PT Pusri Palembang yang diintegrasikan ke dalam model pembelajaran dan pengembangan 70:20:10 yang saat ini diterapkan oleh PT Pusri Palembang. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Mgs. Prima Darma Putra (mahasiswa pascasarjana program doktor di Universitas Negeri Jakarta) adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview), observasi lapangan langsung, studi dokumen, pencatatan, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan pabrik (responden) sebagai data survei untuk mendukung penelitian. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengamati pelaksanaan (praktik) knowledge sharing di pabrik PT Pusri Palembang dan bagaimana strategi dan sistem yang dijalankan oleh pimpinannya. Untuk itu, kajian diawali dengan menguraikan komponen knowledge sharing dengan komponen model pembelajaran dan pengembangan 70:20:10. Irisan komponen informal learning yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk membangun model knowledge sharing yang tepat untuk diterapkan di pabrik PT Pusri Palembang. Penelitian ini sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan praktik knowledge sharing dan upaya untuk menyebarluaskan pengetahuan yang tersimpan dalam individu karyawan untuk dibagikan dan diakumulasikan secara merata di antara seluruh karyawan di berbagai unit kerja sehingga dapat meningkatkan memori perusahaan (corporate memory) dan kecerdasan perusahaan (corporate intelligence). Penelitian ini beberapa model knowledge sharing sebagai inovasi keterbaruan penelitian (research novelty), antara lain; Peer to Peer Sharing Model Antara Senior dan Junior, Peer to Peer Sharing Model dalam Model Satu Generasi, Model Kerangka Inisiatif Strategis, dan Model Sistem Pengembangan Karir Berbasis Pengetahuan, serta perangkat asesmen kapabilitas karyawan untuk melaksanakan (praktik) knowledge sharing yaitu “Framework The 15 Competencies to Build Knowledge Sharing Capability “.
