Abstract
Biologi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran esensial dari ilmu sains. Meskipun begitu masih banyak siswa mengeluh mengenai sulitnya biologi. Sulitnya memahami biologi dapat disebabkan karena rendahnya motivasi belajar biologi yang dimiliki siswa. Motivasi belajar biologi siswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, faktor dari luar diri siswa seperti kepemimpinan guru dan faktor dari dalam diri siswa seperti self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kepemimpinan transformasional guru dan self-efficacy siswa dengan motivasi belajar biologi siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 41 Jakarta dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 88 siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Terdapat tiga instrumen yang dikembangkan untuk mengukur tiap variabel meliputi kepemimpinan trasformasional guru, self-efficacy siswa dan motivasi belajar biologi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi belajar biologi siswa, terdapat hubungan positif self-efficacy siswa dan motivasi belajar biologi siswa, dan terdapat hubungan positif secara bersama antara kepemimpinan transformasional guru dan self-efficacy siswa dengan motivasi belajar biologi siswa. Biology is one of an important subject in science. However, students still complaining about how difficult biology is. The difficulty of understanding biology can be caused by the low students’ motivation to learn biology. Students' motivation to learn biology can be influenced by several factors, external factors such as teacher leadership and internal factors such as student self-efficacy. This research was aimed to analyze the correlation between teachers transformational leadership and students self-efficacy with students biology learning motivation. This research was conducted at SMAN 41 Jakarta by involving a sample of 88 students. The method used is a descriptive method with correlational studies. There were three instruments measured, teachers transformational leadership, students self-efficacy, and students motivation to learn biology. The results showed that there is a positive correlation between teachers transformational leadership and students biology learning motivation, there is a positive correlation between students self-efficacy and students biology learning motivation, and there is a positive correlation between teachers transformational leadership and Students Self-efficacy with students biology learning motivation.
