Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan profetik kepala sekolah dengan kualitas kehidupan kerja pendidik Sekolah Menengah Pertama berbasis islam di Bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pendidik SMP Swasta berbasis islam di Bekasi yaitu Kecamatan Bekasi Utara dan Kecamatan Tambun Utara dengan jumlah populasi 107 guru dengan sampel 52 guru yang diperoleh dari perhitungan rumus slovin dengan taraf signifikansi 10%. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji korelasi product moment, koefisien determinasi dan uji t. hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan profetik kepala sekolah (X) dengan kualitas kehidupan kerja pendidik (Y). Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh rhitung = 0,290 > rtabel = 0,279 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 8,4% lalu thitung = 2,140 > ttabel =2,009. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between principal’s prophetic leadership style and the quality of work life of teachers at State Junior High Schools in Region Bekasi, namely North Bekasi and North Tambun Districts. This research is a type of quantitative research using a correlational approach. Data collection techniques used in this study using a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were teachers at the State Junior High School in North Bekasi and North Tambun Districts, Region Bekasi with a total population of 107 teachers with a sample of 52 teachers obtained from the calculation of the Slovin formula with a significance level of 10%. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing is done by testing product moment correlation, coefficient of determination and t test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between principal’s prophetic leadership style (X) and quality of work life of teachers (Y). This is indicated by rcount = 0.290 > rtable = 0.279 with a coefficient of determination of 8.4% then tcount = 2.140 > ttable = 2.009.
