Abstract

Skala dysfunctional career decision-making beliefs (DCB) adalah instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai keyakinan disfungsional dalam membuat keputusan karier. Keyakinan yang disfungsional menghambat seseorang untuk maju dalam proses pengambilan keputusan karier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengadaptasi skala DCB dan menguji properti psikometris dalam penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia. Skala dysfunctional career decision-making beliefs (DCB) terbentuk dalam lima aspek: the role of chance or fate, critically of the decision, the role of significant others, the role of professional help, dan gender. Proses adaptasi pada skala DCB melalui lima tahap, tahap pertama terjemahan awal, sintesis terjemahan, back-translation, uji ahli dan uji instrumen. Prosedur adaptasi skala DCB mengikuti pedoman adaptasi yang layak. Skala DCB memiliki sampel sebanyak 714 mahasiswa umum di Indonesia. Hasil analisis properti psikometris pada penelitian ini yaitu valid, dengan menyajikan nilai loading factor 0,56 sampai 0,83 dan hasil confirmatory factor analysis menunjukkan model yang fit. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa skala dysfunctional career decision-making beliefs dapat digunakan untuk menilai keyakinan disfungsional dalam pengambilan keputusan karier di Indonesia. The dysfunctional career decision-making beliefs (DCB) scale is an instrument used to assess dysfunctional beliefs in making career decisions. Dysfunctional beliefs prevent a person from progressing in the career decision-making process. This study aims to adapt the DCB scale and examine psychometric properties in the use of Bahasa Indonesia. The dysfunctional career decision-making beliefs (DCB) scale is formed in five aspects: the role of chance or fate, critically of the decision, the role of significant others, the role of professional help, and gender. The adaptation process on the DCB scale goes through five stages, the first stage is initial translation, translation synthesis, back-translation, expert test and instrument test. The DCB scale adaptation procedure follows appropriate adaptation guidelines. The DCB scale has a sample of 714 general students in Indonesia. The results of the psychometric property analysis in this study are valid, by presenting a loading factor value of 0.56 to 0.83 and the results of confirmatory factor analysis showing a fit model. Thus, it can be concluded that the dysfunctional career decision-making beliefs scale can be used to assess dysfunctional beliefs in career decision making in Indonesia.
