Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model guided discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA di kelas IV SD Negeri Pelabuhan 01, Kecamatan Plandaan, Kabupaten Jombang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Pelabuhan 01 yang berjumlah 20 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dalam hasil belajar IPA. Peningkatan hasil belajar terjadi secara bertahap, pada siklus I hasil tes tertulis yang diperoleh pada siklus I sebesar 80% dan tindakan peneliti yang dilakukan pada siklus I dengan persentase 83% kemudian tindakan peserta didik mencapai persentase 78%. Hasil tersebut belum mencapai target yang diinginkan peneliti lalu terjadi peningkatan dalam siklus II dengan hasil tes tertulis 90% dan tindakan peneliti yang dilakukan pada siklus II dengan persentase 92% kemudian tindakan peserta didik mencapai persentase 90%. Hasil penilaian harian mencapai persentase ketuntasan sebesar 90%. Peningkatan aktivitas guru berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik. This study aims to determine whether the guided discovery learning model can improve science learning outcomes in grade IV SD Negeri Pelabuhan 01, Plandaan District, Jombang Regency, East Java Province. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri Pelabuhan 01, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests and observations. The results showed that there was an increase in science learning outcomes. The increase in learning outcomes occurs gradually, in the first cycle the written test results obtained in the first cycle are 80% and the researcher's actions are carried out in the first cycle with a percentage of 83% then the student's actions reach a percentage of 78%. These results have not reached the target desired by the researchers, then there was an increase in the second cycle with the written test results of 90% and the actions of the researchers carried out in the second cycle with a percentage of 92% then the students' actions reached the percentage of 90%. The results of the daily assessment reached a percentage of completeness of 90%. The increase in teacher activity is directly proportional to the increase in student activity
