Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media audio pembelajaran berupa podcast pada mata kuliah Pengantar Pendidikan Khusus untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai konsep dasar anak berkebutuhan khusus. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Model Baker & Schutz yang mencakup 7 tahapan : Formulation, Instructional Specification, Item Tryout, Product Development, Product Tryout, Product Revision, Analysis Operation. Evaluasi pada pengembangan ini dilakukan melalui expert review dan pengguna (one-to-one & small group) yang melibatkan 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli desain pembelajaran, 2 ahli media, 3 orang responden one-to-one dan 9 responden small group. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penilaian oleh responden dipaparkan secara deskriptif karena data yang diperoleh melalui evaluasi formatif bukan untuk dianalisis secara statistic, namun untuk direspon dan ditindaklanjuti dalam bentuk revisi produk. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut, maka produk podcast dianggap baik dan layak digunakan sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran. This development research aims to produce learning audio media in the form of podcasts in the Introduction to Special Education course to increase understanding of the basic concepts of children with special needs. The development model used in this research is the Baker & Schutz Model which includes 7 stages: Formulation, Instructional Specification, Item Tryout, Product Development, Product Tryout, Product Revision, Operation Analysis. Evaluation on this development was carried out through expert and user reviews (one-to-one & small group) involving 1 material expert, 1 learning design expert, 2 media experts, 3 respondents one-to-one, 9 respondents small group . The data obtained from the results of the assessment by the respondents are presented descriptively because the data obtained through formative evaluation is not to be analyzed statistically, but to be responded to and followed up in the form of product revisions. Based on the results of the assessment, podcast products are considered good and suitable to be used as learning support media.
