Abstract

Penelitian kajian pustaka ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis pada peserta didik Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang berada pada tingkat kelas tinggi dalam proses pembelajaran PPKn dan pemilihan model, strategi, atau pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat diimplementasikan untuk melatih kemapuan berpikir kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan model analisis Miles, Hubermen dan Saldana. Terdapat empat tahapan yang diakukan dalam penelitian kualitatif yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan observasi dan mengkaji sumber pustaka seperti buku, jurnal-jurnal dan artikel yang sesuai dengan masalah peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajara PPkn pada peserta didik Sekolah Dasar terutama yang berda pada tingkat kelas tinggi. Pentingnya kemampuan berpikir kritis sesuai dengan tujuan dari pembelajaran PPKn, maka kemampuan berpikir kritis pada peserta didik sekolah dasar khusus pada jenjang kelas tinggi perlu dilatih dengan sebaik mungkin salah satunya dengan pemilihan model, strategi atau pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran This literature review research aims to examine the effect of critical thinking skills on elementary school students who are at the high grade level in the Civics learning process and the selection of appropriate learning models, strategies, or approaches to practice critical thinking skills. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method with the analysis model of Miles, Hubermen and Saldana. There are four stages carried out in qualitative research, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This data collection technique uses observation and review of library sources such as books, journals and articles that are in accordance with the researcher's problem. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of critical thinking skills in learning Civics on Elementary School students, especially those at the high grade level. The importance of critical thinking skills in accordance with the objectives of Civics learning, the critical thinking skills of elementary school students specifically at the high grade level need to be trained as well as possible, one of which is the selection of appropriate learning models, strategies or approaches implemented in the learning process.
