Abstract

Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purpose sampling dan cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes akhir kemampuan pemahman konsep matematik pada pokok bahasan persamaan linear satu variabel sebanyak 4 soal uraian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis penelitian, dilakukan uji normalitas dengan uji Liliefors dan uji homogenitas dengan uji Fisher. Kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Rata-rata jumlah skor yang didapat kelas eksperimen I sebesar 17,361 dan rata-rata jumlah skor untuk kelas eksperimen II sebesar 14,278. Sehingga hasil uji-t diperoleh 3,930 1,994 hitung tabel t t    sehingga tolak Ho. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model MMP memiliki perbedaan rata-rata dan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik siswa yang diajar dengan model MMP lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik siswa yang diajar dengan model Concept Attainment. The method used in this research is quasi experiment method. Sampling technique using purpose sampling and cluster random sampling. The research instrument used is the final test of the ability of understanding mathematical concepts on the subject of linear equations of one variable as much as 4 description questions. Based on the results of testing the research hypothesis, normality test with Liliefors test and homogeneity test with Fisher test. Then tested the hypothesis using t-test. The average number of scores obtained experiment class I is 17,361 and the average number of scores for experiment class II is 14,278. So the result of t-test is obtained reject Ho. It can be concluded that the students' understanding of mathematical concepts taught by using the MMP model has the average difference and the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by the MMP model is higher than the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students who are taught by Concept Attainment model.
