Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi secara jelas mengenai meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung penjumlahan melalui penggunaan media realia pada peserta didik tunanetra kelas 1 di SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2016 dengan subjek penelitian di kelas 1 sebanyak 2 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan melalui dua siklus dengan standar keberhasilan penguasaan materi pada peserta didik sebesar 60. Analisis data yang diperoleh persentase kemampuan awal peserta didik ALN yaitu sebesar 20% dan MRA 40%. Setelah melakukan tindakan siklus I dan II presentase kemampuan operasi hitung penjumlahan pada peserta didik ALN meningkat menjadi 40% dan 60% sesangkan MRA naik menjadi 60% dan 100%. Dampak dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan peserta didik operasi hitung penjumlahan dapat meningkat. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa media realia mampu meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung penjumlahan pada peserta didik tunanetra kelas I di SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Jakarta. The purpose of this research was to obtained the information clearly about improving the addition skills through the real media usage for visual impairment students in the 1st grade of SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Jakarta. This research was conducted from April to Mei 2017 with 2 students as research subject. This research used the classroom action research method by two cycles. The students successful standard for understanding the material is equal to 60. The data analysis that was gained in the first cycle is 20% for student with initial ALN and 40% for MRA. After the 1st cycle was conducted, the percentage of ALN’s addition skills was improved to 40% and MRA improved to 60%. Because of the students understanding of material is not sufficient to achieve the successful standard, so the researchers conducted the 2nd cycle. In this cycle the students’ percentage of addition skills was improved to 60% for ALN and 100% to MRA. The impact of this research is the students addition skills was improved. Thus, it could be said that the usage of real media could improved the addition skills for visual impairment students in the 1st grade of SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Jakarta.
