Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data empiris serta mengamati secara langsung manajemen peserta didik berbasis sekolah yang dilaksanakan berdasarkan penerimaan, masa pengenalan lingkungan sekolah, pembinaan dan pengembangan peserta didik di SMA Al Azhar Kelapa Gading Jakarta Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Nara sumber atau pihak informan data dari penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, Kepala Tata Usaha, Guru Bimbingan Konseling dan Ketua Osis SMA Al Azhar Kelapa Gading Jakarta Utara. Hasil dari penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa, (1).pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru meliputi : pembentukan panitia penerimaan peserta didik, penyusunan prosedur dan persyaratan penerimaan calon peserta didik,, Pengumuman atau sosialisasi penerimaan calon peserta didik, selanjutnya proses penerimaan calon peserta didik, melakukan test seleksi calon peserta didik, selanjutnya pengumuman hasil penerimaan peserta didik baru. (2) pelaksanaan masa pengenalan lingkungan sekolah bagi peserta didik baru bertujuan meliputi : pengenalan potensi diri, membantu beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekolah dan sekitarnya, menumbuhkan motivasi, semangat dan cara belajar efektif, mengembangkan interaksi positif antar peserta didik dan warga sekolah, dan menumbuhkan prilaku positif. (3) pembinaan dan pengembangan peserta didik baru meliputi : memberikan layanan bimbingan konseling, mengembangkan potensi peserta didik secara optimal dan terpadu sesuai bakat, minat dan kreativitas. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical data and directly observing learners of school-based management is implemented based on the acceptance, future introduction of the school environment, training and development of students at SMA Al Azhar Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, techniques of data collection is done by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. Resource persons or parties informant data from the study is the Principal, Vice Principal of Student Affairs, Vice Principal of Curriculum, Head of Administration, Master Counseling and Leader of Student Union SMA Al Azhar Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta The results of the study concluded that, (1) .Implementation of new learners include: the establishment of the reception committee of students, preparation of procedures and admission requirements of prospective students ,, publication or dissemination recruitment of learners, further the process of recruitment of students, test selection of prospective students, the next announcement of the admission of new students. (2) the implementation period of the introduction of the school environment for new learners aims include: the introduction of self-potential, helping to adapt to the school environment and surroundings, motivation, spirit and how to learn effectively, promote positive interaction between students and the school community, and foster good behavior , (3) the promotion and development of new students include: providing counseling services, developing the potential of learners in an optimal and integrated in accordance talent, enthusiasm and creativity.
