Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan mendeskripsikan peran guru TK dalam mengarahkan anak saat bermain di sekolah yang sesuai dengan stereotip gender. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelompok A KB-TK Islam Al Husna Jatibening. Alat pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Fokus penelitian ini adalah apa latar belakang guru dalam mengarahkan anak ketika bermain sesuai dengan stereotip gendernya, apakah guru memahami tentang stereotip gender anak, dan bagaimana reaksi anak terhadap guru pada saat mengarahkan anak dalam bermain di sekolah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang guru melakukan pengarahan terhadap anak yang bermain tidak sesuai gender karena kurangnya pemahaman guru mengenai stereotip gender dan pengaruh budaya serta lingkungan sosial terhadap kehidupan guru yang didapat sejak kecil, dan reaksi anak ketika guru mengarahkan anak ketika bermain hanya diam dan menurut dengan perintah gurunya. Oleh sebab itu, guru harus menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan mengenai stereotip gender, dan dapat menjalankan peran-perannya dengan baik sesuai dengan proses pembelajaran yang ideal. The research is intended to analyze and describ the role of kindergarten teachers to direct the children at school are in accordance with the stereotype gender. Method this research is the method of a qualitative with the approach descriptive. The sample in this research is the teachers group of A islamic KB-TK Al Husna Jatibening. The data collection techniques are interview, observation, and documentation. Technique data analysis use the model miles and huberman . the focus of this research is what teachers background in directing children when playing in accordance with stereotypes gender. Whether the teacher understanding of stereotype gender children, and how reaction children to teacher at the time of direct child in play in school.The results showed that the background teachers are doing a briefing to the child who plays this is not in line with the gender is the lack of understanding the teacher about the stereotype of gender, and the influence of cultural as well as social environment on the lives of teachers obtained since childhood. and reaction a child when teachers directing a child when play just stand still and according to by the command of his teacher. Therefore, teachers have to add to knowledge and insight about stereotype gender, and can run the roles well in accordance with the learning process that are ideal.
