Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan dan mengevaluasi alat praktikum koefisien gesek berbantuan sensor smartphone. Alat praktikum yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan model 4D Thiagarajan melalui tahap Define, Design, Development, Disseminate. Alat praktikum digunakan untuk percobaan koeifisen gesek statis dan kinetis dengan berbagai bahan kombinasi benda (kayu, akrilik, alumunium). Berdasarkan hasil analisis percobaan dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa nilai rata-rata koefisien statis pada seluruh kombinasi bahan lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata koefisien gesek kinetis. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli media yang memperoleh persentase rata-rata 90.84%, ahli materi 90.83% dan ahli pembelajaran 84.50%. Ketiga penilaian tersebut memperoleh interpretasi baik. Hasil uji efektivitas pada uji lapangan diperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,46 yang menunjukkan bahwa alat praktikum dapat meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan uji kelayakan dan uji lapangan dapat disimpulkan alat praktikum koefisien gesek berbantuan sensor smartphone dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa This study aims to produce and evaluate a friction coefficient practicum tool based on a smartphone sensor. The practicum tools developed can be used as learning media to improve high school students' analytical skills. The research method used is Thiagarajan 4D model development research through the Define, Design, Development, Disseminate stages. The practicum tool is used to experiment with static and kinetic friction coefficients with various combinations of materials (wood, acrylic, aluminum). Based on the results of experimental analysis, it can be concluded that the average value of the static coefficient on all combinations of materials is greater than the average value of the coefficient of kinetic friction. The results of the feasibility test by media experts obtained an average percentage of 90.84%, material experts 90.83% and learning experts 84.50%. The three assessments received good interpretations. The results of the effectiveness test in the field test obtained an N-Gain value of 0.46 which indicates that the practicum tool can improve students' analytical skills in the medium category. Based on the feasibility test and field test, it can be concluded that the friction coefficient practicum tool based on the smartphone sensor is declared feasible as a learning medium and can improve students' analytical skills
