Abstract

Guru merupakan salah satu sumberdaya manusia yang berperan penting dalam membangun masadepan bangsa, maka dari itu penting bagi guru untuk memiliki kinerja yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh school leadership terhadap job satisfaction guru biologi hingga akhirnya akan mempengaruhi job performance guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik kausal. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik pemilihan sampel bertingkat dan terpilih 111 guru biologi SMA Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Ada tiga instrumen yang dikembangkan untuk mengukur job performance, school leadership dan job satisfaction yang telah divalidasi. Data dianalisis dengan regresi, korelasi dan analisis jalur. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job satisfaction guru secara langsung dan signifikan dipengaruhi oleh school leadership, begitupun job performance dipengaruhi langsung oleh job satisfaction secara signifikan, school leadership berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap job performance melalui job satisfaction. Teachers are one of the human resources that play an important role in building the future of the nation, therefore it is important for teachers to have good performance. This study aims to determine the effect of school leadership on the job satisfaction of biology teachers so that it will ultimately affect teacher job performance. The method used is a survey with a causal technique. The sampling technique used stratified sample selection techniques and 111 high school biology teachers were teach in South Jakarta. There are three instruments developed to measure job performance, school leadership and job satisfaction that have been validated. Data were analyzed by regression, correlation and path analysis. The findings of the study show that teacher job satisfaction is directly and significantly influenced by school leadership, as well as job performance is directly affected by job satisfaction significantly, school leadership has an indirect effect on job performance through job satisfaction.
