Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta berminat untuk menjadi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik survei melalui penyebaran angket. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 296 mahasiswa dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 131 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan tabel frekuensi dan persentase. ***** Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta memiliki minat untuk menjadi guru sebesar 76.50 persen yang termasuk ke dalam kategori minat tinggi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh dari setiap indikator penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) Kognisi (mengenal), berdasarkan indikator ini hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan dan informasi mengenai profesi guru yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta berada pada kategori tinggi dengan 81.92 persen, 2) Emosi (perasaan), indikator ini menunjukan bahwa perasaan senang, tertarik, dan pemberian perhatian yang besar terhadap profesi guru yang diberikan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta berada pada kategori tinggi dengan 81.32 persen, 3) Konasi (tindakan), indikator ini menunjukan bahwa kemauan dan motivasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta berada pada kategori tinggi dengan 68.15 persen. This study aims to determine whether students of the History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta are interested in becoming teachers. This study uses descriptive research methods with survey techniques through the distribution of questionnaires. The population in this study were all active students of the History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta. The number of research subjects as many as 296 students with the number of respondents as many as 131 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique using frequency and percentage tables. The results showed that students of the History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta, had an interest in becoming a teacher by 76.50 percent which were included in the category high interest. This can be seen from the results obtained from each of the indicators of this study, namely: 1) Cognition (knowing), based on this indicator the results The research shows that knowledge and information about the teaching profession owned by students of the History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta are in the high category with 81.92 percent, 2) Emotions (feelings), this indicator shows that feelings of pleasure, interest, and great attention to the teaching profession are given by students of History Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University Jakarta is in the high category with 81.32 percent, 3) Conation (action), this indicator shows that the willingness and motivation of students of History Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta are in the category high with 68.15 percent.
