Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata dalam menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan implikasinya terhadap karakter siswa di SMK Negeri 16 Jakarta. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara melalui informan dan key informan, serta untuk melengkapi dilakukan studi dokumentasi. Wawancara dengan 7 (tujuh) orang yang terdiri dari 6 (orang) siswa SMK Negeri 16 Jakarta dan 1 (satu) orang guru PPKn, serta 2 (dua) orang key informan yaitu Kepala Sekolah dan Koordinator Program Adiwiyata sekaligus Wakil Bidang Kesiswaan. Dengan diperkuan pendapat ahli atau expert opinion yakni Dosen Pendidikan Geografi UNJ. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April-Juni 2022. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan dalam Program Adiwiyata terdapat tata tertib yang mengatur kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Dalam pelaksanaan Adiwiyata terdapat program kerja dalam upaya menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Kemudian membuktikan bahwa menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pembiasan-pembiasan dalam setiap program kerja Adiwiyata. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan dilakukan dengan Program Adiwiyata melalui tata sekolah dan program kerja Adiwiyata yang terselenggara dengan baik. Pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata juga berimplikasi dan berdampak positif terhadap perubahan karakter siswa. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Adiwiyata program in growing the character of caring for the environment and its implications for the character of students at SMK Negeri 16 Jakarta. The research method is a qualitative descriptive and uses data collection prosedures by means of observation, interviews through informants and key informants, as well to complete the documentation study. Interviews with 7 (seven) people consisting of 6 (one) students of SMK Negeri 16 Jakarta and 1 (one) PPKn teacher, as well as 2 (two) key informants, namely the Principal and the Adiwiyata Program Coordinator as well as the Student Representative. With the reinforcement of expert opinion, namely the Geography Education Lecturer of UNJ. This research was conducted in April-June 2022. The results of the research findings show that in the Adiwiyata Program there are rules that regulate environmental care. In the implementation of Adiwiyata, there is a work program in an effort to foster students' environmental care character. Then it proves that growing the character of caring for the environment through refractions in every Adiwiyata work program. This study concludes that fostering the character of caring for the environment is carried out with the Adiwiyata Program through school governance and the Adiwiyata work program which is well organized. The implementation of the Adiwiyata program also has implications and has a positive impact on changes in student character.
