Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai Dampak Sistem Zonasi Bagi Motivasi Belajar Peserta Didik di SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta, selama kurang lebih lima bulan dari Februari sampai dengan Juni 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik survei yaitu sampel berasal dari peserta didik yang telah melakukan zonasi dan menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data pokok, data lainnya berasal dari data wawancara dan kajian pustaka. Subjek penelitian ini mengambil data dari peserta didik dan panitia seleksi PPDB yang berada di SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem zonasi memiliki dampak bagi motivasi belajar peserta didik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peserta didik yang diterima melalui sistem zonasi cenderung memiliki motif berprestasi dan keinginan atau hasrat untuk berhasil yang tinggi, antusias dalam pembelajaran yang ditandai dengan keinginan untuk dapat memecahkan suatu persoalan dalam pembelajaran tertentu, hasrat untuk menggapai cita-cita yang tinggi serta keinginan untuk dapat naik kelas, keinginan untuk mendapatkan tenaga pendidik atau guru yang mampu memahami sifat mereka, keinginan untuk dapat melakukan proses pembelajaran di sekolah yang bersih dan nyaman. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sistem zonasi di SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta memiliki dampak terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik yang ditandai dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 60% dan termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. ***** The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the Impact of the Zoning System on The Learning Motivation of Students at SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta.. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta, for approximately five months from February to June 2021. The research method used is a descriptive method with a survey technique, namely the sample comes from students who have done zoning and uses questionnaires as a basic data collection tool, other data comes from interview data and literature reviews. The subjects of this study took data from students and the PPDB selection committee at SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta. The results of the study show that the zoning system has an impact on the learning motivation of learners. This is shown by students who are accepted through the zoning system tend to have high achievement motives and desire or desire to succeed, enthusiasm in learning characterized by the desire to be able to solve a problem in a particular learning, desire to achieve high goals and the desire to be able to move up in class, the desire to get educators or teachers who are able to understand their nature, the desire to be able to carry out the learning process in a clean and comfortable school. The conclusion of this study is that the zoning system at SMP Negeri 265 Jakarta has an impact on the learning motivation of students which is characterized by an average percentage of 60% and is included in the high category.
