Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar memukul bola dalam permainan Softball dengan gaya mengajar penemuan terbimbing pada siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 31 Jakarta. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Perbankan dan Keuangan Mikro yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga kali pertemuan, tahap observasi, pelaksanaan siklus I dan pelaksanaan siklus II dengan waktu 2 x 45 menit sesuai jam pelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Penilaian dilakukan ketika siswa mempraktekkan gerakan memukul bola dalam permainan Softball dari sikap awal sampai dengan sikap akhir. Sebelum melakukan pengambilan nilai, siswa diberi waktu untuk latihan menggunakan alat bantu yang mereka usulkan sebagai pemecahan masalah atas kendala yang mereka hadapi pada pembelajaran sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya mengajar penemuan terbimbing mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar memukul bola dalam permainan Softball dengan nilai rata-rata kelas pada tahap observasi sebesar 55,26, pada siklus I sebesar 68,02 dan pada siklus II sebesar 78,58. Dimana ketuntasan belajar siswa pada tahap observasi sebesar 3,3%, pada siklus I sebesar 36,6% dan pada siklus II sebesar 83,3%. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of hitting the ball in a Softball game with a guided discovery teaching style in students of grade XI SMK Negeri 31 Jakarta. This research is a type of class action research, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview, tests and documentation. The sample in this study were students of grade XI Banking and Microfinance totaling 30 students. The study was conducted in three meetings, the observation stage, the implementation of the first cycle and the implementation of the second cycle with a time of 2 x 45 minutes according to the hours of physical education lessons. Assessment is carried out when students practice the movement of hitting the ball in a Softball game from the initial stance to the final stance. Before taking grades, students are given time to practice using the tools they propose as problem solving for the obstacles they face in previous learning. The results showed that the teaching style of guided discovery can improve learning outcomes of hitting the ball in a Softball game with the average value of the class at the observation stage of 55.26, in the first cycle of 68.02 and in the second cycle of 78.58. Where the completeness of students learning at the observation stage was 3.3%, in the first cycle was 36.6% and in the second cycle was 83.3%.
