Abstract
Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran berupa Buku Panduan Ilmu Bertahan Hidup di Hutan untuk Pegiat Alam Terbuka di Komunitas Education Camp. Dalam mengembangkan buku panduan ini, peneliti menggunakan model pengembangan produk yang dikemukakan oleh Rowntree. Model ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan besar yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap persiapan penulisan, serta tahap penulisan dan penyuntingan. Evaluasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode evaluasi formatif dengan melibatkan ahli (expert review) dan pengguna (face-to-face tryouts). Evaluasi tersebut melibatkan 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli media, 3 pengguna (one to one), dan 9 pengguna (small group). Hasil ujicoba ahli menyatakan buku panduan sudah memiliki standar kelayakan yang baik dengan perlunya perbaikan dalam hal ilustrasi pada buku. Hasil ujicoba pengguna menyatakan buku panduan dapat dijadikan panduan dan pedoman dalam mempelajari ilmu bertahan hidup di alam terbuka. ***** This development research resulted in an instructional media in the form of a Basic Survival Guide Book for Mountaineers in Education Camp Comunity. In developing this guidebook, researchers used the product development model proposed by Rowntree. This model consists of three big stages, namely the planning stage, the preparing for writing stage, and the stage of writing and re-writing. The evaluation in this study uses a formative evaluation method involving experts (expert review) and users (face-to-face tryouts). The evaluation involved 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 3 users (one to one), and 9 users (small group). The results of expert review stated that the guidebook had a good standard of feasibility with minor improvements in guidebook illustration. The results of user trials state that the guidebook can be used as a guide book to learn basic survival skill in the wilderness.
