Abstract

Kreasi Tas Ransel dengan Motif Bekantan dengan Teknik Digital Printing sebagai Bentuk Kampanye Sosial terhadap Hewan Endemik Indonesia”. Skripsi Penciptaan Karya Seni Rupa, Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hewan bekantan saat ini dikategorikan genting dan menjadi hewan yang dilindung. Berdasarkan dari latar belakang tersebut, perupa menciptakan karya fashion berupa laptop backpack dengan menggunakan gaya ilustrasi pada motif bekantan dan habitat bekantan yang ada di provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, dipadukan dengan pengulangan multidimensional repeat dengan teknik Digital Printing. Motif ilustrasi bekantan dan habitatnya diletakan diatas kain polycanvas dan di print dengan menggunakan Digital Printing dan di buat pola kemudian dijahit konvensional menggunakan mesin jahit dan dijadikan Laptop Backpack dengan tujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan melindungi hewan bekantan dari kepunahan. Metode Penelitian dalam penciptaan karya seni rupa yang di buat perupa menggunakan metode kualitatif serta dengan jenis riset penciptaan yang menggunakan Research–led practice, dimana dalam proses ,pembuatan karya seni rupa dilakukan sebuah penelitian terlebih dahulu kepada target perupa untuk mendapatkan hasil dan eksplorasi sebuah konsep. Kemudian hasil dari penelitian tersebut diimplementasikan ke dalam sebuah karya seni rupa berupa laptop backpack dengan warna merah, kuning dan cokelat diatas kain polycanvas. Perupa mendapatkan kesimpulan dari penelitian yang dilakukan, bahwa fashion sudah menjadi gaya hidup dan suatu kebutuhan dalam masyarakat tidak terkecuali di Indonesia, dan fashion bukan hanya tentang busana namun dapat diterapkan pada asesoris. Sehingga fashion bentuk tas backpack dengan motif Bekantan menjadi salah satu media informasi yang efektif untuk menyadarkan masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam terutama pada hewan endemik yang berada di ambang kepunahan seperti Bekantan. **** The Creation of a Backpack with Proboscis Monkeys with Digital Printing Techniques as a Form of Social Campaign against Indonesian Endemic Animals Thesis for the Creation of Fine Arts, Fine Arts Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Jakarta State University. Proboscis monkeys are currently categorized as critical and protected animals. Based on this background, the artist creates fashion works in the form of a laptop backpack using an illustration style on the proboscis monkey motif and the proboscis monkey habitat in the province of South Kalimantan, combined with multidimensional repeat with Digital Printing technique. The illustration of the proboscis monkey and its habitat is placed on a polycanvas cloth and printed using Digital Printing and a pattern is made and then sewn conventionally using a sewing machine and used as a Laptop Backpack with the aim of introducing and protecting proboscis monkeys from extinction. Research Methods in the creation of works of art made by artists use qualitative methods as well as the type of creation research that uses Research-led practice, where in the process of making works of art, a research is carried out first to the target artist to get results and explore a concept. Then the results of the research are implemented into a work of art in the form of a laptop backpack in red, yellow and brown colors with polycanvas cloth. Artists have concluded from the research conducted, that fashion has become a lifestyle and a necessity in society, including in Indonesia, and fashion is not only about clothing but can be applied to accessories. So that the fashion of a backpack bag with a proboscis monkey motif is one of the effective information media to make people aware of the importance of preserving nature, especially for endemic animals that are on the verge of extinction such as proboscis monkeys.
