Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian etnografi yang menggunakan metode deskrtiptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di STAI Ali Bin Abi Thalib Sidotopo, Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Penelitian dimulai dari April 2022 hingga Juli 2022. Tujuan dari penelitian ini agar mengetahui kurikulum, media pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, evaluasi, kegiatan pembelajaran serta keunggulan yang terdapat di STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib. Tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di STAI Ali Bin Abi Thalib Surabaya adalah untuk mencetak mahasiswa yang mahir dalam bahasa arab. Adapun materi pembelajaran untuk bahasa Arab berasal dari buku Al Arabiyah Baina Yadayik, Silsilah Ta’lim Al Lughah Al Arabiyah, Nahwu Wadhih, dan Amtsilatu Tashrifiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yaitu metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab dan metode studi kasus. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan berupa papan tulis, buku paket, LCD, dan audio visual. Hasil pembelajaran peserta sesuai dengan hasil wawancara guru, bahwa rata-rata hasil nilai belajar yang didapatkan peserta mencapai standar nilai kelulusan yang ada dan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Arab dari peserta didik. Dan menurut hasil wawancara peserta didik, mengatakan merasa puas dengan mengikuti program belajar yang ada di STAI Ali Bin Abi Thalib karena mereka belajar dengan para ahli bahasa arab yang memudahkan mereka juga dalam memahami isi kandungan Al-Quran, selain itu mereka diajarkan dengan metode yang menarik dan beragam untuk membantu Peserta untuk mencapai tujuan dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. This research is an ethnographic research that uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at STAI Ali Bin Abi Talib Sidotopo, Surabaya, East Java. The study started from April 2022 to July 2022. The purpose of this research is to find out the curriculum, learning media, learning methods, evaluation, learning activities and the advantages contained in STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib. The purpose of learning Arabic at STAI Ali Bin Abi Thalib Surabaya is to produce students who are proficient in Arabic. The learning material for Arabic comes from the books Al Arabiyah Baina Yadayik, Silsilah Ta'lim Al Lughah Al Arabiyah, Nahwu Wadhih, and Amtsilatu Tashrifiyah. The methods used in learning Arabic are the lecture method, the question and answer method and the case study method. The learning media used are blackboards, textbooks, LCD, and audio visuals. The learning outcomes of the participants were in accordance with the results of the teacher interviews, that the average learning scores obtained by the participants reached the existing standard of passing grades and there was an increase in the Arabic language skills of the students. And according to the results of student interviews, they said they were satisfied with participating in the learning program at STAI Ali Bin Abi Thalib because they studied with Arabic language experts which made it easier for them to understand the contents of the Al-Quran, besides that they were taught in interesting methods. and various to help Participants to achieve their goals in learning Arabic.
