Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya mengangkat permasalahan pembelajaran sosiologi yang masih bersifat pasif. Kepasifan ini terjadi karena pembagian peran yang tidak setara antara pendidik dan peserta didik. Untuk dapat mengasah kemampuan imajinasi sosiologis peserta didik, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang mengakomodir pengetahuan dan pengalaman peserta didik, bukan sekadar mengulang materi yang ada dalam buku teks. Terdapat tiga tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini. Pertama, mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran dialogis Paulo Freire melalui model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Kedua, mendeskripsikan hasil kelayakan stratgei pembelajaran dialogis Paulo Freire melalui uji kelayakan yang dilakukan oleh para ahli. Ketiga, mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah implementasi strategi pembelajaran dialogis Paulo Freire melalui tiga tahap uji coba. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan campuran (mix method) yang mengangkat materi perilaku menyimpang. Data diperoleh melalui tiga cara, yaitu pengamatan, angket, dan studi pustaka. Subjek penelitiannya adalah peserta didik kelas X IPS 4 di SMA Negeri 1 Brebes. Adapun ahli yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini meliputi ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran, dan pendidik mata pelajaran sosiologi. Produk akhir dari penelitian ini diantaranya adalah rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), video pembelajaran, dan bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan strategi pembelajaran dialogis mendapatkan penilaian yang optimal. Hasil uji kelayakan para ahli menunjukkan bahwa produk pengembangan dikategorikan “Sangat Layak”, di mana persentase kalayakan ahli materi sebesar 98,2%, ahli pembelajaran sebesar 99%, dan pendidik mata pelajarasan sosiologi sebesar 98%. Hasil uji coba kepada peserta didik sebagai bentuk implementasi menunjukkan hal yang sama, di mana produk pengembangan dikategorikan “Sangat Layak”. Dalam uji coba satu-satu diperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 95%, uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 85,5%, dan uji coba lapangan sebesar 88%. Hal ini menandakan bahwa strategi pembelajaran dialogis yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran dalam mata pelajaran sosiologi. ***** This study seeks to raise the problem of learning sociology which is still passive. This passivity occurs because of the unequal division of roles between educators and students. To be able to hone the imagination skills of students, learning strategies are needed to accommodate the knowledge and experience of students, not preparing the material contained in textbooks. There are three main objectives in this research. First, developing Paulo Freire's dialogical learning strategy through the development of the Borg & Gall model. Second, describe it based on Paulo Freire's dialogical learning strategy through tests conducted by experts. Third, describe the steps for implementing Paulo Freire's dialogical learning strategy through three trial stages. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with a mixed approach that raises deviant material. The data were obtained in three ways, namely observation, questionnaire, and literature study. The research subjects were students of class X IPS 4 at SMA Negeri 1 Brebes. The experts involved in this research include material experts, learning experts, and sociology subject teachers. The final products of this research include lesson plans (RPP), learning videos, and teaching materials. The results showed that the development of a dialogical learning strategy got an optimal assessment. The results of the expert test show that the product development is categorized as "Very Eligible", where the percentage of expert qualification is 98.2%, learning expert is 99%, and sociology subject is 98%. The results of the trial to participants as a form of implementation showed the same thing, where the product development was assessed as "Very Eligible". In the one-on-one trial, it was 95%, the small group trial was 85.5%, and the field trial was 88%. This indicates that the developed dialogic learning strategy can be used as an alternative strategy for learning sociology subjects.
