Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the sample after the existence of Peer Group Education on the Decline of Cybersex Behavior in Adolescents During the Covid-19 Pandemic. The method used in this research is quantitative pre-experiment with the type of experimental design Static group comparison. The sample that participates in this experiment is teenagers aged 12-21 years who tend to behave in cybersex using the Internet Sex Screening Test (ISST) data collection instrument by Delmonico and Miller (2003) and has been adapted by Sari & Purba (2013). with purposive sampling technique, then included in this study with a total of 20 participants who were divided into the experimental group and the control group. After being given treatment to the experimental group in the form of Peer Group Education, the researchers analyzed the results of the pre-test and post-test using a non-parametric statistical test, namely the Wilcoxon Signed Rank with a significance value of 0.057> 0.05 so that it shows the results that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. The conclusion that can be given is that Peer Group Education is less effective in reducing cybersex behavior.
