Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai tingkat kestabilan emosi pada mahasiswa program sarjana yang mengikuti organisasi Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, UNJ periode 2022-2023. Aspek-aspek dalam kestabilan emosi yaitu keseimbangan, keberanian, kekuatan ego, kendali emosi, sensitivitas emosi, dan neurotik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan survei deskriptif dengan populasi sebanyak 434 orang dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 208 orang, dengan teknik sampel probability sampling jenis cluster sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara dan instrumen kestabilan emosi dengan penilaian menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa statistika deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil perolehan gambaran kestabilan emosi mahasiswa yang mengikuti organisasi BEM secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori sedang (63,0%), berdasarkan aspek persentase tertinggi berada pada aspek kekuatan ego (63,5%), berdasarkan BEM Prodi perolehan persentase tertinggi berada pada BEM FIP (60,7%) dan BEMP BK (82,6%), berdasarkan jenis kelamin mahasiswa laki-laki berada pada kategori sedang (74,3%) dan mahasiswa perempuan berada pada kategori sedang (57,2%). Sebagian besar hasil persentase berada pada kategori sedang, sehingga mahasiswa BEM tersebut sudah memiliki tingkat kestabilan emosi yang cukup baik. ***** This study aims to obtain description of the level of emotional stability in undergraduate students participating in the Student Executive Board organization at the Faculty of Education, UNJ for the period 2022-2023. Aspects in emotional stability are balance, courage, ego strength, emotional control, emotional sensitivity, and neurotic. The research method used is a descriptive survey with a population of 434 people and a total sample of 208 people, with a probability sampling technique of cluster sampling. Data collection techniques used in the form of interview guidelines and emotional stability instruments with an assessment using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics with percentage techniques. The results of obtaining a picture of the emotional stability of students who take part in the BEM organization as a whole are in the medium category (63,0%), based on the aspect the highest percentage is in the aspect of ego strength (63,5%), based on BEM Study Program the highest percentage gain is in BEM FIP ( 60,7%) and BEMP BK (82,6%), based on gender, male students were in the moderate category (74,3%) and female students were in the medium category (57,2%). Most of the percentage results are in the medium category, so the BEM students already have a fairly good level of emotional stability.
