Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menambah pengetahuan akan ragam pekerjaan/ jenis-jenis pekerjaan yang ada di sekitar peserta didik khususnya peserta didik di kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar (SD) Sekolah Alam Matoa. Sampel penelitian menggunakan sampel jenuh/total yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas 4 yang berjumlah 10 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian berbasis desain (design-based research) yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: (1) Tahap Analisis dan Eksplorasi, pada tahap ini peneliti melakukan studi pendahuluan untuk mengetahui masalah dan kebutuhan dengan menggunakan instrumen rancangan pengetahuan ragam pekerjaan di Sekolah Dasar (SD), angket kebutuhan, serta wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data diketahui rata-rata pengetahuan peserta didik mencapai 58.33% artinya rata-rata rendah akan ragam pekerjaan/ jenis-jenis pekerjaan. (2) Tahap Desain dan Kontruksi, pada tahap ini peneliti merancang dan mengkontruksi buku berjendela yang dikembangkan. Buku berjendela terdiri dari tiga bagian yaitu; bagian pendahuluan, bagian pembahasan (inti buku) dan bagian penutup. (3) Tahap Evaluasi dan Refleksi, pada tahap ini peneliti melakukan penilaian terhadap media yang telah dikembangkan. Penilian hanya sampai tahap evaluasi uji ahli materi dan media. Adapun hasil validasi ahli materi yaitu sebesar 75,00% dengan kategori layak, maknanya adalah baik digunakan, dan hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 81,81% dengan kategori sangat layak maknanya adalah sangat baik digunakan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku berjendela ini layak digunakan sebagai media bimbingan kelompok/ media pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Sekolah Alam Matoa untuk mengenalkan ragam pekerjaan/ jenis-jenis pekerjaan dan dapat dilanjutkan dengan uji coba pilot untuk menilai efektivitas buku berjendela pengenalan karier. ***** This study aims to increase knowledge about the variety of jobs/types of work that exist around students, especially students in grade 4 Elementary School of Sekolah Alam Matoa. The research sample used a saturated/total sample, namely all 4th grade students, totaling 10 people. The research method used is design-based research which consists of three stages: (1) Analysis and Exploration, at this stage the researcher conducts a preliminary study to find out the problems and needs by using the design instrument of knowledge of various occupations in elementary schools, needs questionnaire, and interviews. Based on the results of data collection, it is known that the average knowledge of students reaches 58.33%, meaning that the average is low in the variety of jobs/types of work. (2) Design and Construction, at this stage the researcher designs and constructs the developed lift the flap book. The lift the flap book consists of three section, namely; the introductory section, the discussion section (the core of the book) and the closing section. (3) Evaluation and Reflection, at this stage the researcher evaluates the media that has been developed. The assessment is only up to the evaluation stage of the material and media expert test. The results of the material expert validation are 75.00% in the appropriate category, the meaning is good to use, and the media expert validation results are 81.81% with the very feasible category, the meaning is very well used. Thus, it can be concluded that this lift the flap book is appropriate to be used as a group guidance media/learning media at the Elementary School of Sekolah Alam Matoa to introduce a variety of jobs/types of work and can be continued with a pilot trial to assess the effectiveness of a career introduction lift the flap book.
