Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis wacana serta menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif danteknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara. Sepuluh oranginformanyang terbagi, satu informan dari Yayasan Jurnal Perempuan, sembilan orang informan lainnya dari kalangan remaja yang telahmenonton film dilan 1990, serta menggunakan berita dari media massa dan video wawancara Pidi Baiq pada Platform Youtube terkait film Dilan 1990. Peneliti memilih menggunakan teori konseptual feminis radikal, kemudian mengolah hasil penelitian dengan konsep analisis hegemoni maskulinitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik dan sikap tokoh laki-laki terhadap tokoh perempuan melalui narasi pada film Dilan 1990. Di dalam film Dilan 1990 terlihat tidak sensitive gender, terdapat agresivitas dandominasi karakter, serta unsur kekerasan terhadap tokoh perempuan didalamnya. Beberapa adegan menunjukan karakter laki-laki yang begitu maskulin, seperti pada awal film dijelaskan bahwa Dilan seorang panglima tempur dan ketua geng motor di Bandung, dan sangat disayangkan film Dilan 1990 memperlihatkan bentuk kekerasan verbal maupun fisik terhadap tokoh Milea. Dalam hal ini menggambarkan karakter laki-laki pada film Dilan 1990 masih menjadi superioritas. Kata Kunci: Agresivitas dan Dominasi Karakter, kekerasan, serta Maskulinitas. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the form of hegemonic masculinity in the study of Dilan 1990 film, to see the domination of men to women and to find out how young people views and assess the Dilan 1990 film. This research uses qualitative approach with discourse analysis and data collection techniques in the form of interviews. Ten informants consist of one informant from the Women's Journal Foundation, nine other informants are adolescents who had watched the Dilan 1990 film. This research also used news from the mass media and Pidi Baiq interview videos on YouTube related to the Dilan 1990 film. Researcher uses radical feminist conceptual theories, then processed the results of this research with the concept of hegemonic analysis of masculinity. Result of the study shows the characteristics and attitudes of male characters towards female characters through narration in the Dilan 1990. In the Dilan 1990 film it could be seen that it doesn’t really mention about gender specifically, although there are aggressiveness and domination that directed towards the female characters in the film, as well as elements of violence against them. Some scenes show male characters that are so masculine, as example at the beginning of the film, it was shown that Dilan is a combat commander and chief of a motorcycle gang in Bandung, and it is unfortunate that the Dilan 1990 film shows forms of verbal and physical violence against the female character Milea. This leads to describing the male character in the Dilan 1990 film is still superior by nature. Keywords: Aggressiveness and Character Domination, Violence, and Masculinity..
