Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan efikasi diri terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru SMK Swasta di Kecamatan Cikarang Utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik analisis jalur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK Swasta yang berjumlah 155 guru, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 112 guru yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut; (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru; (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif efikasi diri terhadap kompetensi pedagogik, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap efikasi diri. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru harus ditingkatkan dengan cara penguatan kepemimpinan transformasional oleh kepala sekolah dan peningktan efikasi diri yang lebih baik pada guru.***********The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of transformational leadership and self-efficacy on teacher pedagogical competence of private vocational school in North Cikarang Sub-District. This research was conducted using a survey method with path analysis techniques. The population in this research was 155 of private vocational school teachers, while the sample in this research amounted to 112 randomly selected teachers. The results of this research are as follows; (1) there is a positive direct effect on transformational leadership on the pedagogical competence of teachers; (2) there is a positive direct effect of self-efficacy on pedagogical competence, and (3) there is a positive direct effect on transformational leadership on self-efficacy. Therefore, increasing teacher pedagogical competence must be improved by strengthening the transformational leadership by the school principal and improving self-efficacy of teacher.
