Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis lingkungan eksternal dan internal yang berdampak pada bisnis X Wedding dan memformulasikan strategi bisnis berdasarkan faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan sekunder berupa semua yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan bisnis internal dan eksternal, studi kasus X Wedding. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, dan studi literatur. Proses analisis menggunakan analisis manajemen strategis yang terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu tahap masukan dan tahap pencocokan.Tahap masukan terdiri dari Matriks Evaluasi Faktor Internal (IFE Matrix) dan Matriks Evaluasi Faktor Eksternal (EFE Matrix). Tahap pencocokan menggunakan Matriks Internal-Eksternal (IE Matrix) dan matriks SWOT (Kekuatan-Kelemahan-Peluang-Ancaman). Dari hasil analisis lingkungan bisnis, X Wedding memiliki 6 kekuatan, 3 kelemahan, 4 peluang, dan 3 ancaman. Skor matriks IFE dan matriks EFE X Wedding menunjukkan kapabilitas pengoperasian dan responnya terhadap pengaruh lingkungan eksternal sangat baik. Berdasarkan matriks IE, X Wedding berada pada posisi grow and build sehingga strategi yang cocok untuk meningkatkan daya saing adalah strategi intensif dan strategi integrasi. *** The research objective is to analyze external and internal environments which impact X Wedding business and to formulate business strategies based on internal and external factors. This research uses a descriptive method and a qualitative approach by collecting primary and secondary data about everything that is relevant to the external and the internal business environment, case study on X Wedding. The data collecting tools are questionnaires, interview, observation, document study, and literature study. The analytical process is through strategic management analysis which consists of two stages, the input stage and the matching stage. The input stage consists of the Internal Factors Evaluation (IFE Matrix) and the External Factors Evaluation (EFE Matrix). The matching stage consists of the Internal-External Matrix (IE Matrix) and the SWOT (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) Matrix. From the result of business environment analysis, X Wedding has six strengths, three weaknesses, four opportunities, and three threats. The IFE Matrix and the EFE Matrix’s score of X Wedding shows the operational capability and the response to external environments are very good. Based on the IE Matrix, X Wedding is at the grow and build position therefore the strategies that are suitable to increase their competitiveness are intensive strategies and integrative strategies.
