Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penilaian produk busana anak dengan teknik jigsaw cutting zero waste. Metodologi penelitian kuantitatif, model desain yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk desain One-Shot Case Study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penilaian dengan skala pengukuran rating scale yang diberikan kepada 5 orang panelis ahli. Penerapan teknik jigsaw cutting pada 5 produk busana anak dinilai berdasarkan kriteria pembuatan busana zero waste yaitu memenuhi indikator visual appearance, fit dan sustainability. Hasil penilaian menyatakan indikator visual appearance memperoleh persentase nilai 89,3 % berdasarkan syarat busana anak, penerapan unsur desain, penerapan prinsip desain dan trend forecasting 2021/2022. Indikator fit memperoleh persentase nilai 96,5 % berdasarkan pemilihan desain untuk kenyamanan beraktivitas anak dan kemudahan pemakaian busana untuk anak. Indikator sustainability memperoleh nilai tertinggi dengan persentase nilai 96,7 % berdasarkan pemanfaatan sisa kain, pembuatan pola busana, serta penerapan teknik jigsaw cutting zero waste meminimalkan sampah. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari 5 produk busana anak, produk 1 mendapatkan nilai tertinggi yaitu 92%. Produk 1 merupakan hasil desain yang paling sesuai dengan penilaian indikator visual appearance, fit, dan sustainability. Sedangkan produk 2 memperoleh nilai terendah dengan nilai 89,7%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengukuran penilaian teknik jigsaw cutting zero waste pada busana anak, mendekati skala sangat baik dengan pemanfaatan sisa kain kurang dari 15%. ***** This study aims to determine the results of the assessment of children's fashion products with the zero waste cutting jigsaw technique. Quantitative research methodology, the design model used is Pre-Experimental Design with the design form of One-Shot Case Study. The data collection technique uses an assessment instrument with a rating scale given to 5 expert panelists. The application of jigsaw cutting techniques to 5 children's clothing products is assessed based on the criteria for making zero waste clothing, namely meeting the indicators of visual appearance, fit and sustainability. The assessment results stated that the visual appearance indicator obtained a percentage value of 89.3% based on the requirements for children's clothing, the application of design elements, the application of design principles and trend forecasting 2021/2022. The fit indicator obtained a percentage value of 96.5% based on the selection of designs for the comfort of children's activities and the ease of wearing clothes for children. The sustainability indicator obtained the highest value with a percentage value of 96.7% based on the utilization of residual fabrics, making fashion patterns, and the application of the zero waste jigsaw cutting technique to minimize waste. Based on the assessment results of 5 children's fashion products, product 1 got the highest score of 92%. Product 1 is the result of the design that best suits the assessment of visual appearance, fit, and sustainability indicators. While product 2 obtained the lowest value with a value of 89.7%. It can be concluded that the measurement of the assessment of the zero waste jigsaw cutting technique in children's clothing, is close to the excellent scale with the utilization of the remaining fabric of less than 15%.
