Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of leadership, compensation, and work motivation on the performance of lecturers at the Academy of Multi Media ‘MMTC’ Yogyakarta. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with a sample of 115 lecturers. Sampling was determined using the census method. The data in this study were analyzed using a Structural Equation Modeling approach, and the software used was SmartPLS. The results showed that: 1) leadership had a significant direct effect on performance; 2) compensation has a significant direct effect on performance; 3) work motivation has a significant direct effect on performance; 4) leadership has a significant direct effect on work motivation, 5) compensation has a significant direct effect on work motivation, 6) leadership through work motivation has an indirect effect on performance, 7) compensation through work motivation has a significant indirect effect on performance. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that performance improvement can be done by taking into account the factors of leadership, compensation, and work motivation so that the goals of the organization can be achieved.Keywords: performance, leadership, compensation, work motivation.****************Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompensasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja dosen Sekolah Tinggi Multi Media ‘MMTC’ Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampel berjumlah 115 dosen. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode sensus. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling, dan software yang digunakan adalah SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja; 2) kompensasi berpengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja; 3) motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja; 4) kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, 5) kompensasi berpengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, 6) kepemimpinan melalui motivasi kerja berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap terhadap kinerja, 7) kompensasi melalui motivasi kerja berpengaruh tidak langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kinerja dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan faktor kepemimpinan, kompensasi, dan motivasi kerja sehingga dapat tercapai tujuan dari organisasi.
