Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami lebih mendalam tentang Struktur, Fungsi, pertunjukan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam seni pertunjukan Buaya mangap berbasis cerita rakyat pada masyarakat Serang Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi dengan pendekatan Kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang telah peneliti peroleh adalah melalui observasi, rekaman dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara struktur, struktur Tradisional Buaya Mangap meliputi beberapa unsur yaitu (a). waktu, tempat dan jarak (b). Wawacan (membaca) (c). pemain (d). Iringan musik (e) tata rias (f). pakaian (g). Simbol. Fungsi kesenian tradisi buaya mangap ini meliputi berbagai hal antara lain fungsi religi, fungsi hiburan, fungsi komunikasi masyarakat, fungsi pendidikan dan pengajaran. Makna nilai kesenian buaya mangap antara lain hubungan antara Tuhan dan manusia, hubungan antara manusia dan manusia, hubungan manusia dengan alam semesta, hubungan manusia dengan waktu. Model yang diusulkan penulis untuk melestarikan kesenian tradisional buaya mangap sebagai bagian dari kearifan lokal menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual. Siswa dibimbing untuk mengenal lebih dalam tentang pementasan kesenian tradisional Buaya mangap di lapangan melalui pengamatan langsung dan mengenal kearifan lokal masyarakat lain di sekitarnya. Dalam kegiatan ini diharapkan terdapat proses kegiatan yang melibatkan aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor siswa sehingga dapat melestarikan tradisi kesenian leluhurnya. This study aims to understand in depth about the the examine structure, functions, performance, values contained Buaya Mangap as folklore in the people of Serang, Banten province. Methodologically, this study uses the ethnographic method while the approach is a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that structurally, the Buaya Mangap Traditional structure includes several elements, namely (a). Time, place and distance (b). Read (c). Player (d). Musical accompaniment (e) cosmetology (f). Clothes (g). Symbol. All of the elements are still present in the show, but there are things about some that have changed or evolved. This is due to changes in social culture and human technology that are increasingly sophisticated, and progressive elements include performers, clothing, and musical accompaniment. The functions of the Buaya Mangap tradition include various things, including religious functions, entertainment functions, community communication functions, educational and teaching functions. As a performing art, this traditional Buaya mangap art brings pleasure or joy to the audience. The model proposed by the author to preserve the traditional art of Buaya Mangap as part of local wisdom uses a contextual learning model. This model is based on seven learning strategies, namely constructivism, inquiry, modeling, asking, and learning community, reflection and real assessment. Students are guided to get to know more about the traditional Buaya Mangap art performances in the field through direct observation and getting to know the local wisdom of other communities around them. In this activity it is hoped that there will be an activity process that involves cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of students so that they can preserve their ancestral artistic traditions.
