Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan suatu fase perkembangan antara masa kanak-kanak dan masa dewasa. Di sinilah peran lingkungan sekitar sangat diperlukan untuk membentuk kepribadian seorang remaja. Lemahnya emosi seseorang akan berdampak pada terjadinya masalah di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana fenomena bullying terhadap remaja. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data membuktikan bahwa bullying verbal merupakan kategori bullying yang sering dilakukan remaja, diikuti dengan bullying fisik dan bullying sosial Anak laki-laki cenderung menggunakan bullying fisik dibandingkan anak perempuan, tetapi anak perempuan lebih dominan mengunakan bullying verbal daripada laki-laki. Namun pada penelitian ini dalam bullying fisik, verbal maupun sosial baik anak laki-laki maupun perempuan memiliki kecenderungan yang sama dibuktikan dengan hasil persentase yang hampir seimbang yaitu bullying verbal sebesar 87%, bullying fisik sebesar 75% dan bullying sosial sebesar 69%. Sehingga hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa anak laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki proporsi yang seimbang dalam peran sebagai pelaku bullying. ***** Adolescence is a developmental phase between childhood and adulthood. This is where the role of the surrounding environment is needed to shape the personality of a teenager. The weakness of one's emotions will have an impact on the occurrence of problems among adolescents. This study aims to find out how the phenomenon of bullying against adolescents. Data analysis in research uses descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 100 high school student respondents who fit the criteria. Based on the results of data analysis, it proves that verbal bullying is a category of bullying that is often done by teenagers, followed by physical bullying and social bullying. Boys tend to use physical bullying compared to girls, but girls are more dominant in using verbal bullying than boys. However, in this study, in terms of physical, verbal and social bullying, both boys and girls had the same tendency, as evidenced by the almost equal percentage results, namely verbal bullying of 87%, physical bullying of 75% and social bullying of 69%. So it can be said that boys and girls have a balanced proportion in the role of bullies.
