Abstract
Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode kuantitatif asosiatif terhadap 48 siswa (28 Laki-laki, 20 Perempuan). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Yayasan Al-Fath Bekasi dari bulan Januari-Februari 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) perilaku overprotective sebanyak 22 butir pertanyaan; (2) motivasi belajar sebanyak 22 butir pertanyaan. Kemudian berdasarkan dari uji korelasi (r) dengan nilai sebesar -0,562 yang mana dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara perilaku overprotective dan motivasi belajar dengan tingkat keeratan korelasi yang sedang. Berdasarkan dari hasil uji R square sebesar 0,316 dari nilai tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku overprotective memberikan sumbangan terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 31,6%. Sisanya 68,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji regeresi menunjukkan besaran pengaruh perilaku overprotective terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar -1.012. Dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi perilaku overprotective orang tua maka semakin rendah motivasi belajar siswa. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of overprotective behavior on learning motivation, and to determine the level of learning motivation possessed by students at the Al-Fath Foundation. The research was carried out using associative quantitative methods on 48 students (28 boys, 20 girls). This research was conducted at the Al-Fath Bekasi Foundation from January to February 2023. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire, while the instruments used in this study were: (1) overprotective behavior as many as 22 questions; (2) learning motivation as many as 22 questions. Then based on the correlation test (r) with a value of -0.562 which can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between overprotective behavior and learning motivation with a moderate correlation. Based on the results of the R square test of 0.316, it can be concluded that overprotective behavior contributes to learning motivation of 31.6%. The remaining 68.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on the results of the regression the effect of overprotective behavior on learning motivation of -1.012. It can be said that the higher the parents' overprotective behavior, the lower the student's learning motivation.
