Abstract

ABSTRAK Drajat Bayu Hutomo, Stres Pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Dalam Menyusun Skripsi (Studi Deskriptif Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2016 - 2018). Jakarta. Program Studi Pendidikan IPS, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2023 Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengetahui gejala stres yang dialami oleh mahasiswa angkatan 2016-2018 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta dalam menyusun skripsi, (2)mengetahui coping stress yang dilakukan mahasiswa sebagai upayanya dalam mengatasi stres dan masalah yang sedang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 orang informan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) mahasiswa tingkat akhir memiliki gejala stres pada penyusunan skripsi pada 5 aspek seperti fisik, emosional, kognitif, interpersonal dan organisasional. Namun dengan gejala yang tidak sama antara satu informan dengan informan lainnya. (2) Coping stress yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa untuk mengatasi stres dalam menyusunan skripsi, mereka menerapkan coping stress secara simultan sesuai dengan permasalahan yang mereka hadapi selama penyusunan skripsi. Namun terdapat 2 mahasiswa yang belum tepat dalam menerapkan coping stress dengan masalah atau hambatan yang sedang ia hadapi. This study uses descrptive research methods with data collection techniques through observation, questonnaires, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The subjects in this study were 6 informantsThe results of this study indicate that (1) final year students havesymptoms of stress in the preparation of thesis in 5 sectors such as physical, emotional, cognitive, interpersonal and organizational but with symptoms that are not necessarily the same between one informant and another (2) Coping stress iscarried out by students to overcome stress in the preparation of thesis.
