Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 12 bulan terhitung dari bulan Februari 2022 sampai Februari 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Teknik pemilihan responden menggunakan Pengambilan Sampel Acak secara Proporsional sehingga diperoleh sampel berjumlah 85 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan angket kepada responden dengan menggunakan skala likert yang memberikan lima alternatif jawaban. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan untuk menguji penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa uji hipotesis terdiri dari Uji F. Berdasarkan perbandingan F�hitung dan F-tabel menggunakan tabel ANOVA, diperoleh F-hitung sebesar 61,223 > 2,49, artinya bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara Kompetensi Pedagogik (X1), Kompetensi Kepribadian (X2), Kompetensi Sosial (X3), dan Kompetensi Profesional (X4) terhadap Motivasi Belajar (Y). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, variabel kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, variabel kompetensi sosial berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dan variabel kompetensi profesional berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. *** This study aims to determine the effect of teacher competence on student learning motivation at SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta. This research was conducted for 12 months starting from February 2022 to February 2023. The method used in this research is a survey method. The respondent selection technique used proportional random sampling so that a sample of 85 students was obtained. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to respondents using a Likert scale which provides five alternative answers. The data analysis technique used to test this research used the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics version 23 application. The results of this study indicated that the hypothesis test consisted of an F test. Based on a comparison of F-counts and F-tables using the ANOVA table, an F-count of 61.223 was obtained > 2.49, meaning that there is a simultaneous influence between Pedagogic Competence (X1), Personality Competence (X2), Social Competence (X3), and Professional Competence (X4) on Learning Motivation (Y). The results of this study indicate that the pedagogic competency variable has a positive and significant effect on student learning motivation, the personality competency variable has a positive and significant effect on student learning motivation, the social competency variable has a positive effect on student learning motivation, and the professional competence variable has a positive effect on student learning motivation.
