Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan SAVI(Somatic, Auditory, Visual, dan Intellectual) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman pada peserta didik sekolah dasar (SD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan atau literatur study untuk memperoleh data sesuai topik permasalahan dalam penelitian. Sumber data yang diambil adalah jurnal dan skripsi terdahulu yang relevan serta buku dan sumber data lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil kajian serta analisis pada sumber data, pendekatan SAVI dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik sekolah dasar (SD). Serta dapat mengaktifkan siswa meupun guru saat pembelajaran dengan melibatkan empat gaya belajar. This research is to determine the application of the SAVI approachment (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, dan Intellectual) in improving reading comprehension skill for students in elementary school. This reseach was reserach descriptive qualitative which using data according to the topic of the problem in research. Sources of data taken are relevant journals and previous theses as well as books and other data sources. Based on the results of studies and analysis on data sources, SAVI approach is able to improve reading comprehension skill for students in elementary school and able to to activate both students and teacher during learning by involving the four learning styles.
