Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan memahamai pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan dalam film drama komedi Susah Sinyal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yakni deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah ujaran atau tuturan dialog yang melanggar prinsip kesantunan dalam film drama komedi Susah Sinyal. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak bebas libat cakap dan teknik catat sebagai teknik lanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan sebanyak 135 data tuturan yang melanggar maksim prinsip kesantunan dalam film Susah Sinyal. Pelanggaran tersebut didominasi oleh pelanggaran maksim penerimaan sebanyak 43 data tuturan. Hal itu disebabkan tuturan yang dikemukakan acap kali memicu ungkapan merendahkan pihak lain demi terciptanya kesan lucu dan humor dalam film. Selain itu, tuturan dialog yang merendahkan, mengejek, serta menghina memang dilontarkan sebagai perasaan tidak suka pada pihak tersebut. Kata kunci: pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan, film Susah Sinyal ***** The purpose of this research is to find out and understand the violations of politeness principles in the comedy-drama film titled Susah Sinyal. The research used descriptive-qualitative method. The object of this research is the words or utterances that violate the principles of politeness in the Susah Sinyal film. The data collection used uninvolved conversation observation technique (simak bebas libat cakap) method and note-taking technique as a follow through. Based on the results of the research, it is found that there are 135 utterances that violate the principle of politeness in the Susah Sinyal film. There violations are dominated by the violations of the approbation maxim with 43 utterances. This is because the words spoken frequently lead to condescending expressions in order to create a funny and humorous impression in the film. Furthermore, condescending, teasing, and mocking utterances are spoken as expressions of dislike towards others. Keywords: violation of the politeness principle, Susah Sinyal film
