Abstract

Penelitian korelasional ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara literasi membaca dengan kesejahteraan subjektif siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kelurahan Sudimara Barat Tangerang berjumlah 110 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan teknik korelasi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga terpilih SDN Sudimara 02 sebagai tempat uji coba serta SDN Sudimara 01 dan SDN Sudimara 06 sebagai tempat penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket dan dianalisis dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perhitungan data, didapatkan hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,19 dan uji signifikan koefisien korelasi dengan uji-t diperoleh thitung 2,01 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 3,61%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi membaca dan kesejahteraan subjektif memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan thitung = 2,01 > 1,98 = ttabel. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi membaca dapat dijadikan upaya untuk membantu memperoleh kesejahteraan subjektif siswa. This correlational study aims to determine the relationship between reading literacy and the subjective well-being of fifth grade elementary school students. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of a public elementary school in the Sudimara Barat Village, Tangerang, totaling 110 students. The research method used in this study is a survey method with correlation techniques. Sampling used a cluster random sampling technique so that SDN Sudimara 02 was selected as the test site and SDN Sudimara 01 and SDN Sudimara 06 as the research sites. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and analyzed by t-test. Based on the results of the analysis of data calculations, the calculation results obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.19 and a significant test of the correlation coefficient with the t-test obtained tcount 2.01 and a coefficient of determination of 3.61%. The results showed that reading literacy and subjective well-being had a positive relationship with tcount = 2.01 > 1.98 = ttable. These results indicate that reading literacy can be used as an effort to help obtain students’ subjective well-being.
