Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang membangun budaya kerja dalam mempersiapkan lulusan siap menghadapi dunia kerja di SMK Pariwisata Metland School. Penelitian berfokus pada penetapan, implementasi dan keberhasilan, hambatan serta solusi terhadap implementasi nilai-nilai budaya kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, melalui metode deskriptif dengan penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Penetapan nilai-nilai budaya kerja termuat kedalam lima indikator nilai-nilai budaya kerja diantaranya integritas, profesionalitas, tanggung jawab, inovatif dan keteladanan; (2) Implementasi nilai-nilai budaya dilaksanakan melalui terintegrasinya nilai-nilai budaya kerja ke dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran, intrakurikuler, kokurikuler maupun ekstrakurikuler; (3) Keberhasilan, Hambatan, dan Solusi terhadap implementasi nilai-nilai budaya kerja dapat dilihat dari perubahan sikap dan prilaku peserta didik, keterserapan lulusan pada dunia kerja, perguruan tinggi serta berwirausaha, dan dapat dilihat dari adanya feedback dari pihak industri berupa permintaan melanjutkan magang kerja dan laporan penilaian softskill peserta didik ketika melangsungkan kegiatan PKL/Prakerin. Hambatannya yaitu perbedaan kondisi sosial budaya, perilaku dan karakteristik dari sumber daya manusia yang ada di SMK Pariwisata Metland School, Sedangkan solusi yang dapat diberikan yaitu dilakukannya parenting, diskusi dan komunikasi secara intens kepada pada para pihak yang terlibat. ***** This research was conducted at the SMK Pariwisata Metland School, which aims to describe building a work culture in preparing graduates to face the world of work at the Metland School Tourism Vocational School. Research focuses on determination, implementation and success, obstacles and solutions to the implementation of work culture values. The research uses a qualitative approach, through descriptive methods by determining research subjects using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Determination of work cultural values is contained in five indicators of work cultural values including integrity, professionalism, responsibility, innovation and exemplary; (2) Implementation of cultural values is carried out through integrating work cultural values into the process of learning activities, intra-curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular; (3) Successes, Obstacles, and Solutions to the implementation of work cultural values can be seen from changes in attitudes and behavior of students, the absorption of graduates in the world of work, universities and entrepreneurship, and can be seen from the feedback from the industry in the form of requests to continue apprenticeships work and student softskill assessment reports when carrying out PKL/Prakerin activities. The obstacles are differences in socio-cultural conditions, behavior and characteristics of human resources in the Metland School Tourism Vocational School. Meanwhile, the solutions that can be given are parenting, intense discussion and communication with the parties involved.
