Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media pembelajaran tiruan awan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang melibatkan dua kelompok yang terpilih secara acak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sejak bulan Oktober 2022 hingga Mei 2023. Pada penelitian ini sampel yang terpilih yaitu kelas X.1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang selama proses pembelajaran menggunakan media 2D berupa PowerPoint sedangkan kelas X.3 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang selama proses pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran 3D berupa tiruan awan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif persentase. Adapun hasil temuan dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai kerja kelompok di kelas eksperimen sebesar 80, lalu rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa sebesar 83 (83%) termasuk kedalam kriteria sangat baik dengan jumlah siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal sebanyak 32 siswa, adapun untuk selisih nilai pre-test dan post-test pada kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 40%. Pada kelas kontrol rata-rata nilai hasil kerja kelompok di kelas kontrol sebesar 77 sedangkan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol sebesar 71 (71%) termasuk kedalam kriteria baik dengan jumlah siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal sebanyak 20 siswa, adapun untuk rata-rata selisih nilai pre-test dan post-test kelas kontrol sebesar 28%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media tiruan jenis-jenis awan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 3 Tangerang pada Sub Materi Jenis-Jenis Awan. The research is an experimental study involving two randomly selected groups. The study was conducted from October 2022 to May 2023. The selected samples for this study were Class X.1 as the control group, which used PowerPoint media during the learning process, and Class X.3 as the experimental group, which used cloud simulated learning media during the learning process. The data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive percentage analysis. The findings of this study indicate an increase in the average learning outcomes for the experimental group and the control group. The average score for group work in the experimental group was 80, the average learning outcome score for the experimental group was 83 (83%), which falls within the criteria of very good, with 32 students reaching the Minimum Completeness Criteria. The difference between pre-test and post-test scores for the experimental group was 40%. As for the control group, the average score for group work in the control group was 77, the average learning outcome score was 71 (71%), which falls within the criteria of good, with 20 students reaching the Minimum Completeness Criteria. The difference between pre-test and post-test scores for the control group was 28%. In conclusion, the implementation of cloud simulated learning media has shown to improve student learning outcomes at SMAN 3 Tangerang, particularly in the sub-topic of Cloud Types.
