Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara intensitas postingan Instagram terhadap self existence pada peserta didik kelas 7 di SMP Negeri 222 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yakni mengambil sampel yang sesuai dengan kriteria sebanyak 76 peserta didik dari total populasi 203 peserta didik kelas 7 di SMP Negeri 222 Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni kuesioner tertutup. Berdasarkan pengujian prasyarat analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,670 yang memiliki korelasi positif dan diperoleh hasil sebesar t hitung = 7,774 > t tabel = 1,995 artinya pengaruh yang positif pada intensitas postingan Instagram terhadap self existence dan apabila intensitas postingan Instagram meningkat, maka self existence juga akan meningkat. Hasil perhitungan uji koefisien determinasi, diperoleh intensitas postingan Instagram mempengaruhi self existence pada kategori cukup. This study aims to determine the influence between the intensity of Instagram posts on self-existence in grade 7 students at SMP Negeri 222 Jakarta. The method used in this study is quantitative with survey methods. The sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling is to take samples that match the criteria of 76 students from a total population of 203 grade 7 students at SMP Negeri 222 Jakarta. The data collection technique used is a closed questionnaire. Based on the prerequisite testing of data analysis and hypothesis testing that has been done, the product moment correlation test obtained a correlation value r = 0.670 which has a positive correlation and obtained results of t count = 7.774 > t table = 1.995 meaning a positive influence on the intensity of Instagram posts on self existence and if the intensity of Instagram posts increases, then self existence will also increase. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination test, obtained the intensity of Instagram posts affect self-existence in the sufficient category
