Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Team Quiz dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 30 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan tiga siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, persentase hasil belajar pada siklus 1 sebesar 62,8%, siklus 2 sebesar 71%, dan pada siklus 3 sebesar 85%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siklus 3 sudah mencapai target Indeks Pencapaian Hasil (IPH). Selain itu, keaktifan siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus 1 persentase keaktifan siswa sebesar 11%, pada siklus 2 meningkat sebesar 25%, dan pada siklus 3 meningkat sebesar 42%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Team Quiz dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS dan keaktifan siswa. This study aims to determine the application of the Team Quiz method in improving class VIII learning outcomes in social studies at SMP Negeri 30 Jakarta. The method used in this research is classroom action research that uses three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of learning outcomes in cycle 1 was 62.8%, cycle 2 was 71%, and cycle 3 was 85%. This shows that the learning outcomes of cycle 3 have reached the Target Achievement Index (IPH). In addition, student activity also increased in each cycle. In cycle 1 the percentage of student activity was 11%, in cycle 2 it increased by 25%, and in cycle 3 it increased by 42%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Team Quiz method can improve social studies learning outcomes and student activity.
