Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau sejauh mana pengaruh pengalaman aktivitas luar ruang (outdoor activity) dalam menumbuhkan kepemimpinan pada siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data berupa sikap dan perilaku siswa yang sesuai dengan indikator yakni dimensi kemampuan membina kerjasama dan hubungan yang baik, kemampuan yang efektifitas, kepemimpinan yang partisipatif, kemampuan mendelegasikan waktu dan kemampuan mendelegasikan tugas atau wewenang. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pre eksperimental. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan siswa siswi SMP Tarakanita 3 sebagai subyek penelitian yang berjudul Implementasi Aktivitas Luar Ruang (Outdoor Activity) Terhadap Nilai Kepemimpinan Anggota OSIS SMP Tarakanita 3. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dengan menerapkan aktivitas luar kelas berupa permainan. Permainan yang dilakukan berjumlah 12 permainan yang disesuaikan dengan indikatornya. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta menggunakan triangulasi data sumber, teknik dan waktu. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara dilakukan dengan kepala sekolah serta guru pendamping. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukan bahwa aktivitas luar kelas khususnya yang berupa permainan berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan kepemimpinan kepada anggota OSIS. Siswa siswi pun juga memberikan tanggapan dan menunjukkan sikap yang positif terhadap penerapan aktivitas luar kelas. *ABSTRACT* This study aims to review the extent to which the influence of outdoor activity experience in fostering leadership in students. This research was conducted to obtain data in the form of attitudes and behavior of students according to the indicators, namely the dimensions of the ability to foster good cooperation and relationships, effectiveness skills, participatory leadership, ability to delegate time and ability to delegate tasks or authority. The approach and type of this research is qualitative using pre-experimental methods. This research was conducted with students of Tarakanita 3 junior high school as research subjects entitled Implementation of Outdoor Activities on Leadership Values for Student Council Members of Tarakanita 3 junior high school. The implementation of the research was carried out by implementing outside class activities in the form of games. There are 12 games that are carried out according to the indicators. Data collection procedures using observation techniques, interviews and documentation as well as using triangulation of data sources, techniques and time. Data collection by observation and interviews was carried out with school principals and accompanying teachers. The research results obtained show that activities outside the classroom, especially in the form of games, have an effect on the formation of leadership for OSIS members. The students also gave feedback and showed a positive attitude towards the implementation of activities outside the classroom. Data collection procedures using observation techniques, interviews and documentation as well as using triangulation of data sources, techniques and time.
