Abstract
Abstract: This article aims to narrate the background and development of the Dialita choir from its inception in 2011 to the launch of their debut album in 2016. The Dialita choir is a choir whose members are former political prisoners and their families. This research method used by descriptive narrative, which describes and analyzes past events. The results showed that Dialita was formed into a choir because of the purpose of those who wanted to help survivors '65. The development of Dialita as a choir that was formed in 2011 has increased until 2016, an increase occurred because Dialita is often involved in events organized by various institutions. Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menarasikan latar belakang dan perkembangan paduan suara Dialita dari awal terbentuknya pada tahun 2011 hingga peluncuran album perdana mereka pada tahun 2016. Paduan suara Dialita merupakan paduan suara yang anggotanya adalah eks-tapol dan keluarganya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif naratif, yaitu mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peristiwa-peristiwa masa lampau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dialita terbentuk menjadi paduan suara di karenakan tujuan mereka yang ingin membantu penyintas ’65. Perkembangan Dialita sebagai paduan suara yang dibentuk pada 2011 mengalami peningkatan hingga tahun 2016, peningkatan terjadi karena Dialita sering dilibatkan dalam acara yang diselenggarakan oleh berbagai lembaga.
