Abstract

Azzahra Nur Syifa, Pengaruh Penggunaan Animasi Powtoon Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas 7 SMP Negeri 97 Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan animasi Powtoon terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas 7 SMP Negeri 97 Jakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen, dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui test yaitu Pre-Test dan Post-Test. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis statistik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas 7 SMP Negeri 97 Jakarta Tahun Ajaran 2022-2023 Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik Purposive Sampling dan diambil sebanyak dua kelas dengan 7G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 7H sebagai kelas kontrol. Setelah pengambilan data, diolah data tersebut dengan uji normalitas menggunakan uji Liliefors, uji homogenitas dengan uji Fisher, dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan Uji-T. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji T, diperoleh derajat kebebasan sebesar 35, harga sebesar 3,42 dan Sig. sebesar 0,0015. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak karena 3,42 > 0,0015 (thitung ≥ ttabel). Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Powtoon memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas 7 secara signifikan. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using Powtoon animation on the social studies learning outcomes of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 97 Jakarta. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach, with data collection techniques through tests, namely Pre-Test and Post-Test. The data analysis technique was carried out by statistical analysis. The population of this study was all 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 97 Jakarta Academic Year 2022-2023 The sampling technique used the Purposive Sampling Technique and two classes were taken with 7G as the experimental class and 7H as the control class. After data collection, the data was processed with a normality test using the Liliefors test, a homogeneity test using the Fisher test, and a hypothesis test using the T-test. Based on the results of the T-test calculation, the degree of freedom was obtained as 35, the price was 3.42, and Sig. was 0.0015. It can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected because 3.42> 0.0015 (tcount ≥ ttable). The results of this hypothesis testing can be concluded that the use of Powtoon has an effect on grade 7 social studies learning outcomes significantly.
