Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen pembinaan program Kompetisi Sains Nasional (KSN) di SMA Negeri Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta. Sub fokus penelitian ini yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Informan penelitian ini adalah Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Koordinator KSN, Guru Pembina/Pengajar KSN, Dan Peserta Didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan program KSN di SMA Negeri Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta dilakukan dengan mendata peminatan peserta didik, merekrut tenaga pengajar KSN, persiapan sarana dan prasarana, materi bahan ajar, silabus, dan pendanaan. (2) Pengorganisasian pembinaan program KSN meliputi penentuan pihak-pihak yang terlibat yaitu Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Koordinator KSN dan Guru Pembina/Pengajar KSN. (3) Pelaksanaan pembinaan program KSN diikuti oleh seluruh peserta didik kelas 10 dan 11 yang nantinya akan diikutsertakan dalam proses seleksi ajang KSN. (4) Pengawasan pembinaan program KSN dilakukan dengan cara berkeliling ke setiap kelas pada saat kegiatan pembinaan berlangsung. ***** This study aims to describe the development management of the National Science Competition (KSN) program at the Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin State High School, Jakarta. The sub focus of this research is planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. This research was conducted at the Mohammad Husni Thamrin State Senior High School, Jakarta. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection through interviews, observation, documentation studies, and literature. The informants for this study were the Deputy Head of School for Student Affairs, the KSN Coordinator, the KSN Teacher/Teacher, and the Students. The results of the study show that: (1) The planning of the KSN program at the Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta State High School is carried out by recording student interests, recruiting KSN teaching staff, preparing facilities and infrastructure, teaching materials, syllabus, and funding. (2) The organization of KSN program development includes determining the parties involved, namely the Principal, Deputy Head of School for Student Affairs, Deputy Head of School for Student Affairs, KSN Coordinator and KSN Supervisor/Teacher Teacher. (3) The implementation of the KSN program coaching is attended by all grade 10 and 11 students who will later be included in the selection process for the KSN event. (4) Supervision of the KSN program development is carried out by going around to each class when the coaching activity is taking place.
