Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh outdoor Activity terhadap sikap sosial pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur, Jakarta Timur, DKI Jakarta. Adapun waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2023 semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pre-eksperimen dengan Pre Test dan Post Test Design. Populasi dalam penelitan ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa Kelas VIII AB Tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebanyak 30 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa angket dan Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Statistik uji-t. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Outdoor Activity ternyata efektif dan dapat meningkatkan sikap sosial siswa kelas VIII AB SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil analisis data tes awal dan tes akhir sikap sosial siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji t. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 11,06. Selanjutnya diuji dengan ttabel pada taraf kepercayaan α = 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan n-1 = 30 – 1 = 29, diperoleh nilai ttable sebesar 2,045, dengan demikian nilai t hitung > nilai t tabel atau 11,06.> 2,045. Dengan terbukti nilai thitung > nilai ttabel dapat dinyatakan bahwa outdoor Activity mempunyai pengaruh terhadap sikap sosial siswa kelas VIII SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur, Jakarta Timur, DKI Jakarta. Kata Kunci : Outdoor Activity, Sikap Sosial, Karakteristik Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Pre-eksperimen Kuantitatif ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of outdoor activity on social attitudes in class VIII students of SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur. The research was conducted at Bina Pangudi Luhur Middle School, East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. The time for the research was carried out in June-July 2023 even semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The research method used is the pre-experimental method with Pre Test and Post Test Design. The population in this research is class VIII students of SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur. The research sample was 30 students of Class VIII AB for the 2022/2023 academic year. In this study, data collection used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire and the analysis technique in this study used the t-test statistical technique. The results of the study stated that Outdoor Activity was effective and could improve the social attitudes of class VIII AB SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur. This is evident from the results of the data analysis of the pre-test and post-test students' social attitudes were analyzed using the t test. From the results of data analysis, the tcount value is 11.06. Then tested with ttable at the confidence level α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom n-1 = 30 – 1 = 29, obtained a ttable value of 2.045, thus the t count > t table value or 11.06 > 2.045. With the proven tcount > ttable value, it can be stated that outdoor activity has an influence on the social attitudes of class VIII students at SMP Bina Pangudi Luhur, East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta.
